Not to be Missed: Let's Flamingle at the Main Stage

Late February in Minneapolis calls for some radical mood enhancement and that is precisely what you will experience at the Minneapolis Home + Garden Show’s Main Stage created by Jaque Bethke of PURE Design Environments. Look for a combined Lifestyle/Cooking Stage full of whimsy, bright colors and yes, flamingos! The revamped Main Stage will be home to all kinds of presentations revolving around remodeling, cooking, interior design and landscaping, plus budget saving tips, DIY ideas and education from local speakers and national celebrities. Here are a few highlights:

Seeing Double: Drew and Jonathan Scott of HGTV’s hit series Property Brothers, sponsored by Wings Financial Credit Union will delight the crowds on Saturday, March 5 at 1 p.m., followed by an autograph signing at 2 p.m.

Twin Cities Live will be broadcasting live for the fourth year in a row on Friday, February 26, at 3 p.m. Elizabeth Ries and Steve Patterson will co-host and provide helpful tips and interviews with special guests.

A perennial favorite, our “Man on the Avenue” Products Expert Sasha Andreev will give us the inside scoop on the best new products of 2016. Visit “Innovation Avenue LIVE” at its new location in Aisle 100 (Hall B) and also on the Main Stage on Friday, February 26 at 5 p.m., Sunday, February 28 at 4 p.m., Friday, March 4 at 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 6 at 11 a.m.

Internationally-recognized design/build contractor and Canadian television personality, Ramsin Khachi will share the latest in luxury decorating trends and how to apply them to your home. Presented by Cambria. See Ramsin Friday, February 26 at 6 p.m.

Main Stage
Marjorie Johnson, the “Blue Ribbon Baker” who has won almost 3,000 State Fair Ribbons has appeared on numerous talk shows, such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, and The View. She brought her home-made cooking to such events as the MLB All-Star Game, the NBA All-Star Game, the Emmy Awards, and the Grammy Awards. Marjorie will be sharing her baking finesse Friday, February 26 at 2 p.m. and Friday, March 4 at 3 p.m.
